Gunnveig Nerol:

Gunnveig Nerol is a Norwegian visual artist living close to Geilo.  Her art education is from The Kabelvåg Art College, The National Academy of Visual Arts in Bergen, Staedelschule in Frankfurt, Germany and Kyoto City College of Fine Arts, Japan.  She has also studied History of Art.

Nerol is working in different materials as drawing, painting, woodcut printing and glaswork.             She has been a tutor at Bergen and Ålesund Colleges of Art. 

She has had many solo exhibitions and taken part in national and regional exhibitions for many years. Nerol has made several large scale art in architecture projects in various glass techniques.

Her work is mainly abstract and expresses reflections over various themes.  The pictures are often connected to her interest in space - space being both paralell an inner and outer space, and a time of space in between the works of a series where changes can take place. 

Her pictures expresses relative connections between the different forms and colours. They are often made up of elements that both interact and contradict each other.    

In 2022 she has been invited to take part in the opening exhibition of the new National Museum in Oslo. 

In 2013 she was visual guest artist at The Norwegian IceMusicFestival at Geilo.

Embla Skogedal Bergerud  was born in 1993 in Bergen, Norway. She finished her education as a dancer at the Academy of Dance (Oslo National Academy of the Arts) in 2012. She continued dancing in France with the Cannes Jeune Ballet for two years, until she entered the Norwegian National Ballet 2 at the Norwegian National Opera and Ballet. Embla participated in several performances with the Norwegian National Ballet, both in the opera house in Oslo and around Norway. She has also participated in various projects in cooperation with dancers and musicians in Norway and abroad.
