The performing artists at Igloo concept.

 On February 21st we will have following artists performing: Terje Isungset:   CNN:"The Worlds first and only Ice Musician"  CNN:Chilling out with the worlds only ice musician. Financial Times: "First Person" WEB SITE: www.terjeisungset.no Gunnveig Nerol: Gunnveig Nerol is a Norwegian visual artist living close to Geilo.    Her art education is from The Kabelvåg Art College, The National Academy of Visual Arts in Bergen, Staedelschule in Frankfurt, Germany and Kyoto City College of Fine Arts, Japan.    She has also studied History of Art. Nerol is working in different materials as drawing, painting, woodcut printing and glaswork.               She has been a tutor at Bergen and Ålesund Colleges of Art.   She has had many solo exhibitions and taken part in national and regional exhibitions for many years. The making of an igloo!

 On January 11th till 13th we had a great team setting up our first igloo ever! This was very exiting indeed, as it was an experiment where we had Architect Petter Bergerud to design an igloo ballon. The igloo balloon was then made by Seilmaker Iversen in Bergen, Norway.  https://seilmakeren.no Even Rygg and Petter did set up the construction on top of the mountains, and it worked! Some photos:

  "On nature's conditions” is an interdisciplinary climate-related project where nature lays down all the conditions for the actual implementation. We do absolutely everything related to this performance by using 100% natural and recyclable materials only. We leave no trace or climate imprint after the performance. Nature is the boss. Everything is on nature's terms - also the artistic content. The performance will be streamed online in March 2021 at sunset, more precisely at 18.00. What we are doing? We do build an igloo out of snow situated on a lake in the middle of the mountain Hardangervidda in Norway. We do harvest ice from the lake. We do make and construct ice instruments inside the igloo. We do make visual art by using ice only. We do create a dance arena out on the lake.
